Community ArtsCheryl Beer is a freelance Community Arts Consultant and Artistic Director Designing and Delivering creative experiences via music, creative writing, poetry, digital story and drama.

As well as being an author, she runs a Community Publishing Company, Parlor Press, supporting those who might not otherwise get the chance to be part of the book making process.

As an award winning Singer/Songwriter she has built a reputation for supporting Community Recording through her company Woman Invisible Records and her Song Writing Shack Studio in Pencader, Carms.

Essentially, she is an engager specialising in inter-generational, women's and youth projects, working with inclusive techniques to empower the difficult to reach to participate.

She combines her academic background in Behavioural Sciences, her post graduate Diplomas in Careers Education and her Masters Degree in Women's Studies, with over 25 years of experience as a community based artist. Her strength is pulling together partnership working; this has been the core of success with the many large scale projects she has designed and delivered or been part of, as well as her dedication to inclusion and equality of access.

Cheryl Beer is the definition of what we call a people person, a team player, a roll up your sleeves and make it happen all-round good egg!
